Hear From Our Customers

Martin Ing

Aircraft Management, Maintenance
We've worked with Crystal Air for over three years, and they manage two aircraft for our company. They're knowledgeable, reliable, and great folks to work with. From ownership to maintenance to the pro-pilots, we couldn't recommend them more highly.

Clark Campbell

Flight Instruction
Before starting my private pilot training, I visited two other options in the area, and it only took one visit to Crystal Air (my third stop) to realize how much Crystal Air stood out compared to the other options. I couldn’t be happier with my investment and couldn’t be more confident in my training thanks to the safety and technology Crystal Air brings to students like me in Southeast Tennessee.

Flight Instruction
Crystal Air goes above and beyond to make sure that you are taken care of. You might find instruction and rentals cheaper somewhere else, but "cheaper" doesn't equal better, especially in this case. These airplanes are well-maintained, and the avionics are modern and up-to-date. When it comes to passing FAA Written exams and check rides, these guys will work with you to get prepared, whatever it takes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do you go? Where can you take me?

There are nearly 20,000 landing facilities in the United States that we can utilize, compared to the 514 used for Airline Service.  We can also go to a few destinations outside the US.

How much does it cost?

Every trip is different, but we base our services on cost of aircraft per hour, pilot rate, and airport fees.

When can my charter flight leave?

Typically we roll off your schedule and can leave shortly after you walk through our doors. Occasionally we may have to adjust due to weather, but we will keep you informed well in advance.

How many people can go on a Charter flight? Is it per person or per seat?

Currently our largest aircraft can seat up to 9 people and a pilot.  When you charter the cost is based on the use of the entire aircraft.

When do I need to be at the airport for a Charter flight?

Whenever you would like to leave!

Where do Charter flights depart from?

Charter operations are based at the Chattanooga Municipal Airport, but repositioning can be included in the cost if you need to depart from somewhere else.
